Meet Moxie
Meet Moxie   Our youngest Jersey and a glimpse into the future of our homestead. This winter day in Maine captures Moxie exactly as she is right now soft nose dusted with snow, little hooves standing curious and steady in the cold, her tail flicking as she takes it all in. At just 3–4 months old , Moxie is still very much a calf, but she already carries herself with the quiet confidence that Jerseys are known for. Moxie is a Jersey cow , a breed cherished for its gentle temperament and rich,...

New Products / Maine Small Farm /Our Humble Homestead
Over the past few months, our farmhouse has looked a little different. Less quiet evenings… more jars cooling on the counter, wax melting on the stove, and a whole lot of testing, learning, and refining. We’ve been busy ,not chasing trends, but creating products we actually use in our own home and feel good about offering to our community. We’re excited to officially share our newest small-batch homestead goods , all thoughtfully made with simple, purposeful ingredients and zero shortcuts....

On The Farm / Maine Farm / Raw Milk
July was all about keeping fudge pops frozen, snapping too many cow photos, and remembering that every animal here has a job.. some give milk, some give wool, and some just supervise with attitude. We made yogurt, cream cheese, bread, and a few messes along the way. Every day reminded us that this life is simple, a little chaotic, and exactly where we’re meant to be.

Bourbon Red Turkeys

If you've visited our farm, you've probably spotted our beautiful Bourbon Red turkeys strutting around the pasture. Known for their striking deep-red feathers and calm personalities, Bourbon Reds are a heritage breed we are proud to raise.

We chose this breed not only for their beauty but also for their historical significance and exceptional flavor. Bourbon Reds were first developed in Kentucky in the late 1800s and are prized for their rich, tender meat far superior to what you'll find in a grocery store bird. Because they are a heritage breed, our turkeys grow at a natural pace, developing strong, healthy bodies with excellent flavor and texture.

Our Bourbon Reds are free-ranged, allowing them to forage on pasture, which contributes to their overall well-being and the nutrient density of their meat. They thrive on a diverse diet of grass, insects, and supplemental grains, and they are never given antibiotics or growth hormones.

We believe in stewarding these birds with care and respect, preserving a breed that was once nearly lost to history. When you purchase a Bourbon Red from our farm, you're not only getting a high-quality product you’re supporting sustainable, small-scale agriculture and helping to preserve a piece of American farming heritage.
